Rotate the view or save a rotation
A viewer’s rotation button may change only the view. This tool saves orientation in a PDF copy.
90° is a quarter turn, 180° turns the sheet upside down and 270° is three clockwise quarter turns. Rotation adds to the existing value: a sheet already at 90° becomes 180° after another 90° turn.
The whole document or selected sheets
If some sheets already read correctly, avoid a global rotation. Use a selection such as 2,4-6 and process groups separately for different angles.
- Load the file.
- Choose 90°, 180° or 270°.
- Leave pages blank for all or enter a selection.
- Download and inspect each changed orientation in another viewer.
Orientation and sequence are separate
To put the last sheet first, use Reverse pages. For custom positions, use Reorder. Rotation does not move sheets.
Processing is local and the original remains intact. Correct orientation before cropping, adding margins, numbers or logos so later operations use the final presentation.
Criteria for reviewing and delivering the result
Identify a reading reference on every incorrectly oriented sheet, such as its heading or a recognizable word. Choose the angle placing that reference correctly and distinguish rotation from sequence changes. Do not force every page into the same appearance when legitimate portrait and landscape content is mixed. A wide table can already be correctly oriented inside a mainly portrait collection. Review what each sheet is meant to show before selecting a batch operation.
After exporting, inspect modified pages and one that should remain unchanged. Close and reopen the copy to verify the saved orientation rather than only a temporary viewer adjustment. If printing behaves differently, review driver settings and paper size. Retain treated positions to repeat the correction in an updated source. A ninety degree turn fixes a sideways page but does not straighten a small scanning tilt. A finer editing tool or a fresh scan may be appropriate when the defect comes from capture. Verify the saved file itself before delivery, since a correct preview does not establish that the intended output version was downloaded and selected.
Save a quarter turn on one sheet
Load the sample, choose 90° and enter 2 in page selection.
The PDF keeps three sheets. Only A2 rotates 90° clockwise; A1 and A3 remain unchanged.
The sample starts at 0° rotation. To restore A2’s initial orientation, apply 270° to that position in the copy.
