How to use this tool

  1. Paste a nonempty JSON array of objects.
  2. Convert and inspect columns collected from all rows.
  3. Copy the table or download .md and check its appearance at the destination.

An example you can verify

Prepare a documentation table while retaining string-formatted codes.

Example input

[{"nombre":"Ana","codigo":"001"},{"nombre":"Luis","codigo":"002"}]

SettingsTwo-column Markdown table.

Expected result

| nombre | codigo |
| --- | --- |
| Ana | 001 |
| Luis | 002 |

Codes retain their zeros because JSON represents them as strings. Paste output into a viewer supporting Markdown tables.

JSON to Markdown table: uses and practical guidance

A Markdown table moves a JSON collection into documentation, notes or a readable file without manually arranging rows. Input must be an array of objects, such as exported records or a sample response. Columns collect keys from every row instead of only the first object. A member appearing later introduces a column across the complete table. Output contains a header row, a separator row and one row for each object, ready to copy or download as .md. This is a representation of supplied records rather than an analysis or summary of their values.

Values use readable representations. Numbers and booleans are shown as text; strings retain their content; nested objects and arrays become compact JSON within the cell. Missing members and null produce empty cells, so these cases are not distinguished by the table. If that distinction matters to a report, prepare explicit labels before conversion. Codes with leading zeros must already be strings in the source JSON. Converting a parsed number cannot restore a text format that was lost earlier. Inspect the source representation before using table appearance as evidence about original data types.

Characters that could introduce HTML, vertical separators or Markdown syntax inside a cell are escaped. The aim is to display values rather than turning them into links, images or additional formatting. Embedded line breaks become the ↵ symbol so each record remains on one physical document row. Tabs become spaces. This makes output easier to paste but is not a reversible transformation of every spacing detail. Review long descriptions, code samples and values containing special characters. User content is not presented as a rendered HTML preview within this page, keeping conversion focused on a text artifact for use elsewhere.

Final appearance depends on the Markdown viewer. Some viewers do not support tables or display whitespace differently, so check the file where it will actually be read. Limits are one thousand rows, fifty columns and one million input characters, with bounded JSON structure. Duplicate keys and unsafe integers are rejected to avoid ambiguous members or silent numeric precision loss. Select necessary columns before converting a very wide dataset. The table does not calculate totals or aggregate rows: each row represents its original object. Retain JSON when fields may need editing or when a later CSV export must preserve distinctions that the Markdown presentation does not show.

Settings and limits

Paste a JSON array of objects. Columns combine keys from all rows. Missing or null values produce empty cells; nested objects and arrays use compact JSON. Special characters are escaped and line breaks are shown as ↵. Maximum 1,000 rows, 50 columns and 1 million characters.

Frequently asked questions

Does it execute HTML or links in the content?

No. HTML tags and Markdown syntax in cell content are escaped to produce a text table. Appearance depends on the Markdown viewer.
